Jim's family history in the oil and gas business began in 1920, when his grandfather established Super Service Gas & Oil Co. in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After nearly 60 years and 3 generations of ownership, Jim moved from New Mexico and worked for Cal Gas from 1980 to 1987 as a Delivery Driver, Gas Service Technician and District Manager.

From 1988 to 2006, Jim worked for AmeriGas. His positions included:
